ABOUT
This is Just a Test (TIJAT) is an innovator in film, television, and new media.  We create and produce digital campaigns, commercials, web series, branded content, interactive videos, documentary series, and films.  We work with the largest and smallest best of bread brands in the biz.  Our clients depend on us for doing more with their budget than is thought possible.

TIJAT's projects have won a number of accolades including film festival awards, audience awards, W3 awards for excellence on the web, a Gracie Award, Stevie Award, American Business Award, and our work was recently honored by the White House for a PSA campaign for military members and their families.  A hallmark of our company is producing content of social and environmental importance.

TIJAT's documentary work has appeared in theaters and on NBC, Showtime, History channel, ABC, Documentary channel, MTV, PBS, among others.

OUR MODEL

This is Just a Test is the next generation of content production: high end and low cost.

Our innovative methodology stems from years of producing on a shoestring budget.  Our mantra is: create excellence despite the budgetary restrictions. What makes us unique is our creative ingenuity, our close collaboration with our partners, and our absolute proficiency in maximizing production value.

TIJAT = CREATIVITY + TECHNOLOGY + EFFICIENCY

WHAT ARE OTHER PRODUCTION COMPANIES DOING WRONG?

Content today is less expensive to produce than ever before, yet most productions are as costly as ever.  This is Just a Test was founded with the necessity to innovate, challenging traditional production ideology.  Production companies are doing two key things wrong: operating under an outdated and inefficient model, and not utilizing appropriate technology.

OUTDATED OPERATING MODEL
Production (and the entertainment industry at large) is highly compartmentalized under a vertical system of management.  Communication passes from the top down, through departments that are specialized and segregated.  This dates back to the earliest days of film when the limits of technology demanded it, but the model is costly, inefficient, and outdated.  Most other industries have evolved, yet production has not.

THE WRONG TECHNOLOGY
Most production companies have invested many thousands of dollars into equipment that they continue to use, even with the advent of better and smarter technology. The traditional belief amongst production companies is to buy and bill the cost of equipment "rental fees," profiting largely over a decade or more.  Not taking advantage of appropriate technology forces productions to staff up and operate around antiquated equipment, causing inefficiencies and unnecessary costs to the client/financier. Think about it this way: how long have you had your laptop, television, or mobile phone?

THE SOLUTION
Production today must be lean and smart.  The next generations of filmmakers work fluidly across platforms in an open and collaborative environment.  By embracing technology and integrating departments, quality and efficiency increases while costs decrease.  Has your brand benefited?
